When August rolls around, kids staying with their families at City Rescue Mission can’t wait to get back to school! And this fall, they’re counting on your help to make the grade.
Children experiencing homelessness face an uphill climb in the classroom. The stress and anxiety of their day-to-day lives makes learning that much more difficult. Thankfully, your support of City Rescue Mission helps in two big ways.
First, you’re providing a safe, stable environment from which students can build healthy routines. And second, your support equips kids with pencils, crayons, notebooks and other essential supplies. That’s a tremendous load off for families who are working diligently to get back on their feet.
