Working Toward a Better Future

Bridge to Life is a program serving men and women age 18 and up with addiction and other lifestyle hurdles. By offering comprehensive holistic services, Bridge to Life provides participants an alternative to mainstream drug and alcohol treatment centers, helping them move beyond their circumstances toward a better future.

emergency shelter

City Rescue Mission is a temporary emergency shelter that serves single women,
single men, and families with children. Our shelter is a clean, safe environment
that is enriched with supportive services.

+ Trained staff provide comprehensive case management coordination of services with needs base assessment
+ Individual Service Plan to develop action-oriented goals to establish safe affordable housing and income

The Recovery Program is a faith-based program designed for individuals who are struggling with
life-controlling problems. Our holistic approach is designed to help our participants become
self-sufficient and thriving members of society.

+ Fosters a positive and spiritual environment that highlights the gospel
+ Provides staff that are committed to bringing about a lifestyle change

employment readiness

Clients utilizing our Employment Readiness Services receive specialized skills training,
as well as assistance navigating the application process, creating and presenting a resume,
and preparing for interviews.

Through this program, clients obtain appropriate housing while learning how to live
independently. The goal is for clients to be self-sufficient and self-reliant in order to
reduce the likelihood of a return to homelessness.

+ Assistance with applications, deposits, arrears, evictions, and rent assistance
+ Provides clients with resources and individualized service plans
+ Assistance finding employment and establishing job readiness
+ Work with landlords, housing authorities, and other organizations to secure safe housing for clients
+ Ongoing follow up with clients after they are housed
