Our 19th Annual Mission of Hope banquet was a night we won’t forget! Thank you to all those who joined us at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum to celebrate and kick off our fall campaign. YOU are a vital part of what we do at City Rescue Mission.
“This event is such a great celebration for us,” said President & CEO Tom Jones. “It is such a joy to celebrate those whose lives have been transformed through their time at City Rescue Mission, and–of course–show our thanks to our generous supporters who help make hope and healing possible.”
Special guest speaker Elizabeth Murray, author of “Breaking Night: A Memoir of Forgiveness, Survival and My Journey from Homeless to Harvard,” spoke the following day at the Mission, sharing her story and answering questions.
She truly connected with our clients as she encouraged them to keep doing the next right thing, and also sharing, “No one knows what’s possible until they’re already doing it.”
