During the summer months, there is an even greater need for fresh food, comfortable shelter, showers and life-changing hope. Summer 2018 was a busy time at City Rescue Mission, with plenty of hours dedicated to perfecting our green thumbs in the garden, fun activities like summer cookouts and 13 graduates of the Bridge to Life Program and lots of learning at the new education center. And of course, we couldn’t do it without tremendous support and hard work from our volunteers and donors. Thank you for making this summer memorable!
We were graced with 463 servant-hearted volunteers who helped with meal service, our Donation Resource Center, housekeeping and more.
Staying hydrated is important in this Oklahoma heat! Thanks to our drive and contributions from community partners, we collected plenty of H2O.
Oilfield Christian Fellowship volunteers hosted the annual summer cookout, preparing favorites like steak, chicken, potato salad and baked beans.
