A home is more than just a roof over someone’s head. It’s a source of safety and stability. It’s a launching pad from which we pursue our personal and professional dreams. And for an increasing number of neighbors in Oklahoma City, it’s far from a sure thing.
This summer, many men, women and families will experience homelessness for the very first time. They’ll come to us because they have no place else to turn. Some have lost jobs and savings due to economic hardship. Others are fleeing abusive relationships or seeking to overcome addiction.
No matter the circumstances that lead neighbors to our door, you welcome them inside with open arms.
Thank you for providing the immediate help and long-term resources that create lasting transformation at City Rescue Mission. Because of you, more neighbors have food, shelter and a way home this summer.
Thank you, and may God bless you,
Erin Goodin,
