Program Overview

City Rescue Mission is a housing focused shelter that serves single women, single men, and families with children. Our shelter is a clean, safe environment that is enriched with supportive services. 

• Safe Housing: Provides temporary housing for individuals and families with children experiencing homelessness

• Personalized Support: Offers case management services to create personalized housing stability plans

• Basic Needs: Includes access to meals, showers, laundry services, and other essential needs

• Identification Assistance: Assists with obtaining identification and necessary work documents

• Income Support: Supports clients in increasing income through employment, Social Security, SNAP, and disability assistance

• Rapid Exit Strategies: Implements rental assistance, landlord connections, and reunification with safe support systems

• Path to Stability: Clients in emergency shelter have access to housing services, employment readiness programs, and recovery support to help them transition to long-term stability

• Community Resources: Connects clients to community supports and resources to ensure long-term success

• On-Site Assistance: Community partners provide on-site staff to support clients with health needs, parenting guidance for new mothers, and assistance in accessing social service benefits
