One of the things I love most about City Rescue Mission is that we never lose sight of the person in front of us.

Every person or family that walks through our doors has a different story. Different challenges. Different hopes for the future.

But one thing they all have in common is this: they want a better life.

They want stability and meaningful work. They want to build a future they can be proud of.

That’s why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we meet each person where they are, walk alongside them and help them build toward the future they want for themselves.

Of course, our team plays an important role. But the clients we serve are the ones doing the hard work. They’re showing up. Setting goals. Overcoming obstacles. Taking courageous steps toward a new beginning.

And friends like you help make that possible.

Because of your generosity, clients have the stability they need to focus on finding housing, building careers and creating a future they can be proud of. Clients like Kari have the opportunity not just to overcome homelessness, but to build a life filled with hope.

Thank you for believing in people. Thank you for walking alongside them during some of the hardest moments of their lives. Your compassion reminds them they’re not alone—and that a different future is possible.
