Ron Hall is a renowned speaker, #1 NY Times best-selling author, Art Dealer, and Producer of the movie, “Same Kind of Different as Me.” He has transformed the lives of thousands through his foundation, his national fundraising efforts for those experiencing homelessness, and his speaking. He has raised over 100 million dollars for the unhoused.
All of this would not have been possible without his unique and life-changing friendship with an unhoused man named Denver, documented in his book and movie. He now speaks around the world on topics that include racial unity, putting a new face on the homeless, the power of forgiveness to change lives, and stories from the 10 years of living with the previously homeless Denver. In addition, he speaks on the whacky world of big art deals from his newest book “For Art’s Sake.”
Amanda Taylor can be seen weekdays co-anchoring the 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm newscasts on KWTV News 9. Since joining the News 9 team, Amanda’s been recognized with multiple awards for her work. These include 5 Emmys, an Edward R. Murrow Award, Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters awards, Associated Press honors, and Society of Professional Journalist awards.
Amanda also has a passion for the welfare of children. Through her community outreach efforts, she has helped raise more than two million dollars to feed hungry children.
When you don’t see Amanda on television, she keeps busy chasing after her very active children, Gage and Harlow, and hanging out with her husband Nick and their Wheaten Terrier, Willie.
